Ora privacy policy.

Ora is a fitness, nutrition, progress, and coaching app in beta. This policy explains what information Ora may collect, why it is used, and how users can request deletion.

Information Ora may collect

• Account information: email address, display name, authentication identifiers, beta access status, and basic account metadata.
• Training information: programs, exercises, sets, reps, weights, training sessions, effort notes, fatigue notes, and adherence history.
• Nutrition information: meal logs, foods, recipes, calories, macronutrients, micronutrient estimates, meal timing, and food provenance or source quality labels.
• Body and progress information: body weight, body metrics, progress notes, check-ins, goals, and user-provided context.
• Camera, photo, and video information: images or videos a user chooses to upload for progress tracking, food logging, appearance check-ins, or educational biomechanics capture. Ora requests camera access only when a feature needs image or video capture.
• Activity and health-related information: step count or activity data when a user grants permission through supported device health services such as Health Connect.
• Coaching and reports: AI-assisted coaching context, report snapshots, coach access grants, coach feedback, and review notes when a user chooses to use those features.
• Technical information: device type, app version, diagnostics, upload metadata, and security or rate-limit information needed to operate the service.

How Ora uses information

• To provide workout tracking, nutrition tracking, progress tracking, reports, reminders, coaching context, and beta web-app access.
• To generate evidence-focused summaries, progress views, educational coaching drafts, and optional coach-review packets.
• To store user-selected uploads such as progress images, meal images, and biomechanics capture videos.
• To improve app reliability, diagnose bugs, prevent abuse, and support account access.
• To communicate about beta access, app updates, support, or privacy requests.

Camera and media uploads

Ora may request camera or media permissions so users can capture or upload images and videos for app features such as progress check-ins, food logging, profile images, or biomechanics capture. Users choose when to provide this media. Ora does not use the camera in the background.

Health, fitness, and medical boundary

Ora is intended for fitness education, training organization, nutrition logging, progress tracking, and coaching support. Ora is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Biomechanics and AI-assisted coaching features are educational and approximate unless explicitly reviewed by a qualified professional outside the app.

Sharing and service providers

Ora may use service providers to operate the app, including Google Firebase services for authentication, cloud database storage, file storage, and hosting. These providers process information on Ora's behalf. Ora does not sell personal information.

Users may choose to share report snapshots or coaching context with a coach. Coach access should be explicit, scoped, revocable, and auditable. Ora does not give coaches unrestricted access unless a user or administrator grants access through the product.

Data storage and security

Ora uses reasonable technical safeguards, including encrypted transport where supported by platform services. Some app data may be stored locally on a user's device, and some beta/web features may store data in cloud services. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

Data deletion

Users can request deletion of Ora account data by contacting support@oracoach.app. Include the email address associated with the account. Some records may be retained where required for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or backup integrity, but Ora will make reasonable efforts to delete user-associated app data from active systems.

Children

Ora is not directed to children. Because Ora involves fitness, nutrition, body metrics, and progress tracking, it is intended for adult users and testers.

Changes to this policy

Ora may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
